Elon Musk’s social media platform, X (previously known as Twitter), introduced two new subscription options last Friday. One of these is the Premium+ plan, designed for users who don’t want to see ads and are willing to pay for it.
The Premium+ plan costs around $16 per month and comes with all the tools and features that X offers, but without any annoying ads. According to the company’s announcement on the platform, this subscription is currently available for users who access X through a web browser.
The basic membership costs $3 per month, but it does come with ads.
X is also thinking about adding video and audio calling features for certain users. They’re trying to make the platform an all-in-one app for everything.
Musk has been looking into various ways to make money from the social media platform he bought for $44 billion in October 2022.
